NJSLA Geometry, Lesson 1: Introduce the Standards

In order to prepare for the NJSLA Assessment, students need to be aware of the content that will be tested, as well as, the types of assessment items that will be used to assess this content. This lesson will expose students to the Geometry assessed content and NJSLA Type I assessment items, while also requiring students to evaluate the challenge that is presented by the various content and item types. By being aware of individual and class strengths and weaknesses, both the students and the teacher will be better able to focus the time spent on instruction and preparation.
