Group Scoring Protocol: Using MCAP Rubrics

Do all teachers interpret and apply rubrics the same?  Do all teachers truly understand rubrics used for state testing?  It is very important that all teachers have a common understanding of state testing rubrics and that they apply these rubrics consistently.  Group scoring is one way to help calibrate scoring and deepen educator understanding of rubrics and how they can be used to improve student outcomes.
