Supporting Exceptional Learners for Families

Participants will review various characteristics of exceptional learners, focusing on those students who face attention, behavioral, learning, physical and social challenges.

This workshop is designed to help families better understand the diverse characteristics and needs of exceptional learners. It highlights students who may face challenges related to attention, behavior, learning, physical, or social development. Using a strengths-based approach, participants explore best practices and strategies to foster success at home and in school. By the end of the session, families will have concrete tools and actionable next steps they can immediately apply to support their child’s growth.

  • Difficulty recognizing and addressing the needs of students with learning, attention, or behavioral challenges.

  • Lack of strategies to effectively support students with physical or social-emotional needs at home.
