This workshop addresses the profound effects of stress on educators and outlines the necessity of maintaining teacher wellness. Participants engage with reflective exercises, like mapping personal and professional responsibilities to identify stressors and motivators. The session delves into understanding toxic stress and its physiological impacts, particularly the role of cortisol. Teachers gain insights into simple yet effective self-care strategies such as mindful breathing, sunlight exposure, dietary adjustments, regular physical activity, and improved sleep hygiene.
