Effective Behavior Interventions for Inclusive Environments

1. Positive Classroom Management Practices
   Participants will learn why research supports positive over punitive approaches and gain tools to use reinforcement, positive phrasing, and proactive expectations to reduce disruptive behaviors

2. Alternative Behavior Interventions
   Educators will practice strategies such as previewing behavioral expectations, incorporating mindfulness, using quiet corrections, behavioral contracts, and check-in/check-out systems to support students respectfully and effectively
   
   
3. Creating Inclusive Environments
   Teachers will develop skills in conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, and the CALM approach to teachable moments, ensuring they can build classrooms that are safe, inclusive, and supportive of all students.
