Dyslexia in Focus

Participants will learn to recognize the signs of dyslexia, understand the related challenges, and gain knowledge and skills through video clips and case studies to support students with dyslexia, including exploring effective modifications and accommodations.

This workshop is designed to help educators understand the signs of dyslexia and the challenges students face when living with this learning disability. It emphasizes the impact dyslexia can have on a child’s school experience, including increased stress that may lead to depression or anxiety. Through the use of video clips and case studies, participants gain insight into how dyslexia affects learning and what supports are most effective. The workshop also explores key modifications and accommodations that promote student success and confidence in the classroom.
