Participants will learn to recognize the signs of dyslexia, understand the related challenges, and gain knowledge and skills through video clips and case studies to support students with dyslexia, including exploring effective modifications and accommodations.

This workshop focuses on learning how to understand the signs of dyslexia as well as the related challenges students face when they deal with this learning disability. Students who struggle with dyslexia often experience stress in the classroom which can turn into depression and anxiety about school.  This workshop uses video clips and case studies to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to support students with dyslexia. Modifications and accommodations that play an important role in student success will also be explored.
