As a result of this work, educators will strengthen their understanding of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Comprehensive Health and Physical Education and align instruction to support student wellness, development, and lifelong healthy habits. Teachers will leave with practical strategies, standards-aligned activities, and instructional resources that support effective implementation across grade levels and developmental stages.
Workshop Description
This workshop equips K-12 educators with the knowledge and tools to align their health and physical education instruction with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) for Comprehensive Health and Physical Education. Participants review the NJSLS framework, engage in sample learning activities, and explore curriculum requirements and resources for effective classroom implementation. Through hands-on experiences and strategic planning, teachers gain insights into integrating standards-aligned practices across developmental stages.Â
