Dr. Syene Cooper is an educational consultant and coach who works with schools, districts, and educational organizations to build leadership capacity, foster inclusive practices, and design transformative systems that enhance student outcomes. He specializes in providing professional development, coaching, and strategic guidance to empower educators and leaders in urban and diverse learning communities.
Dr. Cooper believes that every student deserves access to equitable, high-quality education and that building strong, empathetic relationships is the foundation for meaningful learning and systemic change. His approach centers on social and emotional intelligence, culturally responsive pedagogy, and evidence-based practices to create environments where both students and educators thrive.
Dr. Cooper has garnered over two decades of impactful experience as a leader, mentor, and advocate for equity in education. His roles have included Director of Special Education, high school principal, and Assistant Executive Director for early childhood education programs, where he has successfully implemented data-driven strategies, enhanced instructional quality, and supported teachers in meeting the needs of diverse learners. He has been featured on the cover of Touro College's alumni magazine for his transformative impact on education and is a sought-after speaker and trainer on leadership development and equity-focused practices.
When he is not consulting, Dr. Cooper enjoys mentoring future educators, engaging in community service, and exploring opportunities to collaborate with organizations committed to educational innovation.
