Maria Cardona is an educational consultant who works with teachers to provide educational strategies and instructional coaching to positively impact student learning and performance.
Maria believes that teachers succeed when their students thrive in learning environments that foster positive connections and meaningful learning experiences.
Maria has a BA from Barnard College Columbia University in Elementary Education, and an MA from Teachers College Columbia University in Bilingual/Bicultural and ESL Education. She has taught 30+ years in public schools, online global platforms, and university settings. She specializes in implementation of differentiated instruction, addressing ELL student needs, and developing curriculum.
When she is not teaching or consulting, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets. She also delights in crocheting and reading during her spare time.
