Marc Gold is an educational consultant who works with administrators and teachers to reflect on teaching practices and effectiveness and to promote strategies to increase student motivation, engagement, and learning.  

Marc believes that teaching is a vital and complex profession, and that all teachers can enhance their practice throughout their careers. 

Marc has degrees in Education Administration and History, and certifications as teacher, supervisor, and principal.  He has also worked at the K-12 district level with responsibilities for curriculum and instruction. He has experience with data analysis and reporting and the use of data to drive professional development priorities.

When not consulting, Marc is busy with other education-related activities such as coaching first-generation students through the college application process, tutoring, or mentoring aspiring and working teachers.  His free time is devoted to reading, word games, outdoor activities, and following the New York Knicks basketball team.
