Math, Coaching, and Classroom Management
Kimberly Coffield is an educational consultant who works with teachers and administrators to provide coaching, curriculum support and best practices in order to improve student achievement in mathematics. Through collaboration, she provides strategies and personalized resources and teachers can easily incorporate into their classrooms and instruction.
Kim believes that the most important thing teachers can do is make personal connections with their students. Once that relationship and trust is established, you can guide them toward reaching their full potential in any subject area.
Kim has advanced degrees in Education and Psychology and is certified in Middle School Mathematics. She has over 30 years of experience as both a math teacher and specialist, providing coaching and mentorship in both math instruction and classroom management. She has experience in all aspects of teaching including: writing curriculum, inclusion and coteaching, differentiated instruction, math workshop/small group instruction and integration of technology/remote learning.
When she is not consulting, Kim enjoys spending time with her daughter or snuggling with Charli (her dog), a cup of coffee, and a great book! She also loves traveling and seeing new places with her best friend.
