Jennifer Balis

Jennifer Balis is an Instructional Strategist who works with school leaders and teachers to strengthen instruction, build leadership capacity, and design systems that improve student learning.

Jennifer believes that every student deserves access to high-quality, research-based instruction and that supporting teachers with the right tools, strategies, and encouragement creates lasting change.

Jennifer has supported schools as a literacy and instructional coach for over 30 years, leading professional development, launching coaching cycles, and guiding lesson study initiatives aligned to the Science of Reading. She is recognized for her ability to bring excitement and care to school improvement, helping educators feel both supported and inspired to grow.

When she is not in the classroom, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her friends & family, swimming, exploring home improvement projects, and diving into new learning opportunities that spark creativity and growth.
