Working Collaboratively and Effectively with Parents

Participants will gain valuable insights into the importance of maintaining open lines of communication with parents, explore strategies for building strong relationships, setting foundations for future interactions, and preparing for challenging conversations, leaving them equipped with useful tools to foster positive parent involvement in their child's learning.

It's no secret that effective parent-teacher communication is critical for student success in the classroom.  In this workshop, participants will explore the many benefits of keeping the lines of communication open with parents.  They will investigate numerous strategies and resources for establishing strong relationships with parents, discuss how to set a strong foundation for future interactions, and prepare for engaging in challenging conversations.  Participants will walk away with many useful tools to help them keep parents positively involved in their child's learning.
