In today’s world, young people are inundated with events and information that they have little control over. The ability to manage our responses to things that happen in our lives is a critical life skill. Specifically for students, the ability to self-regulate can help students make better decisions, cope with stress, and navigate difficult situations. This workshop explores self-regulation skills and their positive impact on academics, behavior, relationships and mental health. Participants will explore interactive activities as learners and will leave with many strategies and resources that they can use in their work with young people.
