In order for students to be successful, it is critical that they understand what is expected of them and, specifically, how to achieve it.

In order for students to be successful, it is critical that they understand what is expected of them and, specifically, how to achieve it. A rubric can provide students with a blueprint for success as it can be used as a guide to learning. Additionally, it can provide meaningful feedback for student. For teachers, a rubric acts as the bridge between student learning objectives and authentic assessment. This workshop will provide participants with the steps to creating high quality, objective scoring tools for a variety of tasks, such as presentations, group work, projects, and more.
