In order for students to be successful, it is critical that they understand what is expected of them and, specifically, how to achieve it. A rubric can provide students with a blueprint for success as it can be used as a guide to learning. Additionally, it can provide meaningful feedback for students. For teachers, a rubric acts as the bridge between student learning objectives and authentic assessment. This workshop will provide participants with the steps to creating high quality, objective scoring tools for a variety of tasks, such as presentations, group work, projects, and more.
