Performance-Based Teaching, Learning, and Assessment Strategies

Participants will have a comprehensive understanding of performance-based teaching and assessment, equipped with strategies and resources to design and implement classroom-embedded performance tasks that enhance student performance and mastery of 21st-century skills.

This dynamic and interactive workshop is designed to develop a deeper understanding of the meaning and application of performance-based teaching and assessment.  The agenda will begin with identifying the key attributes of performance-based approaches to teaching and learning.   Participants will explore how to design and implement classroom-embedded performance tasks that require students to design and conduct investigations, collect data, and present findings.  Our expert facilitators will guide participants through several effective strategies that can immediately be applied in their classrooms to enhance student performance and deepen mastery of 21st century skills.  Participants will leave this workshop with a toolkit of best practices and resources to support them as they move forward and inspire their students to reach new levels of achievement!
