Building Trusting Teams: An Administrator’s Guide to Creating a Courageous Culture

Participants will learn to foster psychologically safe environments by identifying behaviors and creating routines for trusting teams, embracing hard conversations, understanding motivation for change, aligning work with values, and fostering mutual accountability within the school community.

We know that creating a psychologically safe space is key for our students’ success, but it’s also critical for everyone on our staff. This workshop will engage administrators in identifying the behaviors and creating the routines that allow for trusting teams. Specifically, we will look at how to embrace hard conversations, and we’ll dive into the real motivation required for people to adapt to change. We will also delve into a discussion about how we align our work with our values, and ensure that we are all accountable to one another as a community.
