Megan Penisson is an educational consultant who works with schools to provide coaching and support in mathematics and social emotional learning.
Megan believes in using storytelling as a tool to help teachers and students relate to their targeted subject matters, become intrinsically motivated, and promote a sense of community - leading to teacher and student success.
Megan worked in title 1 schools for ten years and has leveraged her classroom experience by supporting non-profits/museums in building curriculum and creating educational videos. She is highly skilled in building meaningful relationships with her students and using data to drive instruction.
When she is not consulting, Megan works in the film industry representing underserved communities and hopes to bridge the gap between learning and entertainment. She writes children's stories, loves to crochet, and raises monarch butterflies in the summer.
