ELA, Culturally Responsive Teaching, and Differentiation
Cheryl Krapohl is an educational consultant who works with teachers to improve student performance through developing relationships, as well as using a variety of teaching strategies and best practices.
Cheryl believes that every person is capable of continuous improvement given the access to the proper tools, and is dedicated to helping teachers and students achieve the success of which they are capable.
Cheryl has 33 years of experience as a high school English teacher, during which time she excelled at motivating students and teaching the writing process. She wrote her dissertation on teacher-student relationships and culturally responsive teaching, and she is experienced in standardized test preparation, differentiation, and using rubrics.
When she is not consulting, Cheryl enjoys snuggling with her dog, being ordered around by her cats, and hanging with her now-adult son. She also enjoys movies and needlepoint, often at the same time. She loves going on cruises, and hopes to see the world while she still has both of her original hips.
