Most people know of Desmos as a free, graphing calculator, but did you also know that Desmos can be used as a dynamic instructional tool? In this workshop, participants will explore how to use Desmos activities to facilitate classroom conversations and implement the 5 Practices. They will use the Activity Builder to create their own Desmos-powered activities that they can put to immediate and good use in their own classroom. NOTE: Desmos can even be used in any grade-level classroom and in subjects other than math.
