This workshop begins with a review of the components of the ACT, including how it is similar and different from the types of assessments students are familiar with. Next, we will share sample questions for each area assessed to guide a discussion of the challenges students may face. Effective strategies for successfully answering the varied types of questions will be presented. Participants will then participate in interactive activities that will address the component parts of assessment questions. These activities and related resources will be provided so that teachers can use them with their students immediately.
