Mindfulness is the ability to be present in the moment and put space between our thoughts and reactions.

Mindfulness is the ability to be present in the moment and put space between our thoughts and reactions.  Practicing mindfulness has been scientifically proven to reduce stress and sharpen focus on the task at hand.  In this workshop, participants will discover and explore strategies that can help them improve their wellness and work as educators, exercises to implement with students in their classrooms, and resources to share with parents as they begin to practice mindfulness at home.
