This workshop demonstrates how to create a learning environment that incorporates the best technological tool for each instructional goal. The workshop begins with a review of digital citizenship and what it means to create a digital-age classroom. The participants consider and evaluate digital tools and resources that enhance teaching and learning, and are compatible with the school technology infrastructure. Throughout the workshop, the presenter models the use of online and blended learning, digital content, and collaborative learning networks to support and extend student learning. The workshop concludes with an evaluation of digital communication and collaboration tools that participants can use to communicate with students, parents, colleagues, and the community.
