STEM, STEAM, and 21st Century Skills
Mark is an educational consultant who works with K-12 STEM teachers to make the classroom experience more engaging and effective for both students and teachers alike. Mark knows that the analytical skills and thought processes developed in the STEM classroom set our youth on a path for future success.
Mark has degrees in Chemistry (B.S., M.S.) and Education (M.A.). He has several years’ experience writing curriculum, developing science and mathematics educational content, using labs and similar activities to maximize student outcomes, and using multimodal instruction techniques that cater to different learning styles.
Mark has taught in some capacity for 15 years, including several years at the secondary, undergraduate, and middle school levels respectively.
When Mark is not consulting, he enjoys time with his family and playing various musical instruments.
